Greetings to the Blooming Bodywork Community,
As the days turn inward and the light softens, winter invites us to slow down, ground deeply, and reconnect with warmth. This is the season of gentle release, letting the body unwind stored tension, and opening space for clarity and rest.
To honor this moment, I'm offering a limited-season Winter Ritual: a deeply restorative 1 hour 45 minute treatment designed to warm, detoxify, nourish, and reset your whole system.
The Winter Ritual Experience
A slow, intentional journey into warmth and renewal.
Your journey begins with a seasonal elixir and a hot-towel welcome tray: a sensory invitation to calm. We set intention, breathe, and let your system settle.
You'll then receive whole body lymphatic dry brushing to encourage circulation and gently awaken your skin and lymphatic pathways.
Next comes a full-body massage using my handcrafted botanical warming winter oil, a blend of seasonal botanicals chosen for their grounding, soothing, and warming qualities. Long flowing strokes help soften tight muscles and open congested areas.
After the massage, I apply a winter herbal detox clay mask, a mineral-rich, herbal-infused blend designed to draw out stagnation, support skin clarity, and encourage deeper detoxification.
Once the clay is applied, you're wrapped in a warm infrared cocoon, allowing heat to penetrate deeply, stimulate detox pathways, soothe inflammation, and support a profound sense of rest. Many clients describe this moment as "melting into the earth."
The ritual concludes with a hydrating botanical body oil application and a seasonally inspired tea service to gently bring you back into the room: warm, nourished, and restored.
Duration: 1 hour 45 minutes
Availability: December-January
Product Deep Dive: The Winter Clay Mask
This detoxifying winter clay blend is one of the stars of the ritual. It combines:
Mineral-rich clay: to pull impurities from the skin
Warming herbs: such as ginger, rosemary, comfrey, and turmeric, to stimulate circulation
Botanical powders: chosen for their grounding and anti-inflammatory qualities.
Aromatic oils: to calm the mind and support respiratory ease
The effects are both physical and energetic: clearing stagnation, reducing puffiness, softening inflammation, and inviting a sense of clarity and renewal.
Holiday Hours
Blooming Bodywork will be open the week of Thanksgiving and Christmas. Recommended to book your sessions early, as these weeks tend fill up.
